Appeal launched: The front and back covers of the Badger News Spring
2013 contain details of the fund-raising campaign we are mounting. We are well
aware that life is difficult financially for most people at present but we are
in need of financial help and all donations, no matter how modest, will be much
appreciated. The appeal is being made now in the knowledge that in the coming
months Badger Trust is likely to incur a high level of expenditure in our
campaign for all aspects of badger protection. These include stopping the
shooting of badgers, continuing with the Badger Trust vaccination programme,
fighting persecution and ensuring through our groups that ecological surveys for

Avon Vale Hunt Crime Exposed In Court |

A joint hunt master and a terrier man have been fined £300 with £250 costs and a £15 victim surcharge after admitting interfering with a badger sett. The former master of the hunt, the Avon Vale, has criticised the RSPCA for wasting £50,000 of the money given to it by the public in bringing the case. |
