Badger Trust’s main campaign has been to persuade the Government not to initiate a cull of badgers, which has been advocated by the National Farmers Union in the vain hope that this will eliminate bovine tuberculosis (bTB) in cattle. So far this campaign has been successful and the latest position can be found in the Press releases in Badger News

We also campaign to stop all forms of persecution of badgers and particularly the use of snares, which maim and kill badgers.
