Award-Winning Photographer Ian Wood Joins Badger Trust as an Ambassador

Ian is a celebrated wildlife photographer who has dedicated his career to capturing the beauty of nature and advocating for the protection of our wildlife.

Ian Wood has recently been awarded the prestigious Photographer of the Year, People’s Choice Award. His powerful images have not only captivated audiences across the UK but have also highlighted critical issues like the ongoing badger cull.

Ian's Passion for Badger Protection

Ian has been a vocal opponent of the badger cull, using his platform to raise awareness about the devastating impact of this practice. His passion for wildlife conservation aligns perfectly with our mission at Badger Trust.

"I'm honoured to become an ambassador for Badger Trust. It's a national disgrace how many badgers have been needlessly killed in England. It's simply not good enough for Labour to say that they hope to end the cull by the end of this parliament. All existing culling licenses need to be rescinded to stop the death of over 40,000 more badgers when the cull resumes on 1st June." – Ian Wood
