From blood sports and snaring, to a rise in planning and development and over a decade of badger culling, badgers have a long history of cruelty and persecution despite being one of the most protected species.
​That’s why Badger Trust exists. We promote and enhance the welfare, conservation and protection of badgers, their setts and their habitats. Our vision is a world where badgers are a respected part of our rich wildlife heritage, safe from persecution.
Badger Trust works tirelessly to protect these vulnerable animals. Your support can help train police to address illegal hunting activities, support rescue efforts for injured badgers, and raise awareness to reduce road casualties. ​Additionally, we campaign against the nationwide badger cull and advocate for protective legislation to safeguard these native animals.​
